The Noel Group is a leading recruitment agency operating nationwide across the hospitality sector. We are proud to partner with a prestigious client in the hospitality industry to search for a talented Assistant Reception Manager to join their team in Cavan.

An established 4-star hotel is seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Front Office Manager to support the Front Office Manager in leading the reception and guest services team.

The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes, and driving high service standards across the front office. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing day-to-day front office operations including reception, reservations, and guest relations.
  • Supervise, train, and motivate the front office team to deliver consistent 4-star service standards.
  • Handle guest feedback and complaints with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Support scheduling, rostering, and performance management of team members.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor occupancy levels, manage room allocation, and support upselling initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, health & safety, and brand requirements.

Key Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a hotel front office (4-star or higher preferred).
  • Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering excellent guest service.
  • Knowledge of hotel PMS systems (Opera, Fidelio, or similar desirable).
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Professional appearance with a positive, proactive attitude.
