REL Truck Driver / Skip Truck Driver

This is a dynamic role for highly organised and enthusiastic truck drivers who want to work with one of Ireland‘s most progressive and fast-growing Waste Management and recycling companies. Previous driver experience and relevant licences are essential for this role.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

* Pre – inspect your vehicle before leaving the company site

* Ensure all collections/ deliveries are made in a professional and timely manner

* To resolve issues/queries effectively and to escalate to relevant departments where necessary.

* Reporting to Transport Manager throughout the day

* Report any Incidents/Accident to the Transport Manager

* Follow route and time schedule

* To establish good working relationships with customers and colleagues

* Comply with Health and Safety regulations

* Report any malfunctions/faults with the truck to the Transport Manager

* To ensure that the truck is refuelled at the end of shift

* Ad hoc duties as requested.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Good interpersonal and communication skills required.

* Must hold all relevant C Licence/Driver Digital Card/CPC Card.

* A good level of written and spoken English is an advantage.

* Excellent driving history with accident free record.
