Loan Agency Services Associate / Manager
Location: Dublin
Contract: Permanent
Hybrid working model – 50% office based
About the Role
Our Client is looking for an experienced Loan Agency professional to join their growing Agency Services team in Dublin. This is a client-facing role where you will act as the primary point of contact between borrowers, lenders, internal stakeholders, and third parties on syndicated and club loan transactions. You will oversee the operational management of deals from on-boarding through to ongoing life-cycle events, ensuring smooth execution and best-in-class service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for clients, lenders, internal teams, and external counsel.
- Review loan documentation from an operational perspective to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and LMA/LSTA templates.
- Collaborate with originating business teams and external counsel on documentation comments and negotiation points.
- Manage deal on-boarding, ensuring all documentation and conditions precedent are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the closing process, including funds flow management.
- Handle ongoing deal administration, including amendments, waivers, consents, issue escalations, and transaction management.
- Oversee day-to-day loan operations (drawdowns, rollovers, repayments, fees, margin adjustments, covenants, secondary debt trades/transfers, etc.) in collaboration with off-shore support teams.
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative team culture while continuously driving process improvements.
What’s required
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in an Agency role within syndicated loans.
- Strong understanding of complex lending structures.
- Ability to read and interpret credit agreements.
- Previous experience within financial institutions.
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to perform under pressure.
- Positive, proactive team player prepared to “go the extra mile.”
- Familiarity with LoanIQ is advantageous.
- Comfortable working in Agile/Lean environments.
