Duty Manager | Supermarket | North County Dublin

We are seeking an experienced Duty Manager to join the management team of a large supermarket in North County Dublin. This is a great opportunity for a retail professional with strong leadership skills and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service and fresh food standards.

Salary: €35,000 per annum

The Role:
Full-time position, averaging 45 hours per week, 5 days over 7, including weekends and public holidays.

Main Duties:

• Work as part of the store’s management team

• Oversee daily store operations when on duty

• Supervise and lead up to 40 staff per shift (total store team of 90-100)

• Stock ordering and control

• Ensure compliance with HACCP procedures

• Carry out keyholder responsibilities

• Maintain product displays to the highest standard

• Ensure store readiness each day to company standards

• Deliver a high level of customer service at all times

• Staff training and development

• Maintain high security awareness in-store

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in a busy supermarket (essential)

• HACCP training

• Strong knowledge of the retail grocery industry and trends

• Excellent organisational, communication, and people management skills

• Proven experience in staff training and development

• High level of security awareness

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Flexibility to work early starts, late finishes, and weekends

• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
